The presidential election of Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1932 had risen the nation’s hope of economic restoration. Over three years of unrelenting hardship had taken damage on the American psyche. Roosevelt’s landslide electoral victory over former president Herbert Hoover, signaled a thorough rejection of the existing state of affairs and a desire for a new approach on â€Å"fixing the national economic crisis† (Hurley). The new president would not let down the nation. During his first two terms in office, FDR â€Å"enforced legislation through Congress that set a new standard for government intervention in the economy† (wm.edu). The CCC’s reforestation program wa s so effective that it contributed to more than half of the reforestation in nation’s history. The Works Progress Administration was the largest relief program of them all. After the CWA expired, Roosevelt created a relief program that gave Americans jobs that matched their skills and talents. Before its expiration the WPA employed over 9 million Americans. The WPA projects had varied from public works to arts (50a). The result of the program was that it raised everything up from the Stock-Market and Business index to the food price index (The Nation, 581). Some critics labeled the WPA as the â€Å"worst waste of taxpayer money in American history,† however millions of Americans earned money, support, and jobs that they desperately needed. I interviewed Jimmy Johnson; he suffers from chronic pain from many years of work and hard labor. Jimmy was employed for 15 years at a factory that manufactures insulation; there he frequently lifted over 100 pound bags of material. After so much time had passed of heavy lifting Jimmy’s right shoulder tendons began to tear and fray terribly, which frequently happens to people who do hard labor over such a long period of time. Doctors performed surgery on Jimmy’s shoulder, at the age of 49 and left him with only ten percent of his arm and shoulder mobility and flexibility. The cause of his chronic pain is now due to the surgery and the tearing of his tendons in his shoulder: also, numerous other injuries he sustained over his lifetime. A time after his surgery he was prescribed Vicodin and today takes Oxycodone, which treats higher levels of pain than Vicodin. Without his medication of prescription pills Jimmy’s pain would be almost unbearable. He only takes the n eeded amount each day for his pain management and tries his hardest to not abuse the narcotic drugs like many do (Johnson). However, in the past Jimmy was not always so concerned with worrying about not prescription pills abuse. While working hard most of his life he obtained an abundance of injuries and was prescribed potentially addicting prescription pills. Jimmy reminisces, â€Å"I felt that the prescription pills helped me get through the work day.† Jimmy has been prescribed Vicodin, Oxycotin, Oxycodone, Percocet and much more in his lifetime. However if it was not for these pills daily activities would be extremely difficult for him to complete and make it through the entire day. From the many years of prescription pill use Jimmy has developed liver and kidney problems. The liver and kidneys filter the body’s waste and sifts out the materials useful to the body (Spratto and Woods 809). These organs must work extra hard to filter the prescription pills that you intake daily and due to this Jimmy now suffers from damage to the kidney and liver. I have extensive personal experience with my grandmother, Jane Eckles, and her many medical issues before she passed away. My personal experience with her over the years has given me some medical knowledge relating to her illnesses and diseases. Jane was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus at a very young age. Systemic lupus erythematosus, commonly called lupus, is an autoimmune disease, which means the body recognizes its own antibodies as harmful substances and attacks it in attempt to kill it off (Eckles). Throughout her life she suffered many other injuries, infections and diseases because of the lupus and it’s depletion of the body’s immune defenses. Toward the end of her life, at the age of 68, Jane was treated for a fractured tibia bone. She was prescribed a low dose of Vicodin for the pain she was experiencing during her recovery time period. I can remember her saying her lower leg hurt quite a bit and the pain medication helped but would make her feel very cloudy and somewhat groggy. Because of this cloudiness, Jane was not fond of the prescription pill medication but consumed it anyway to help her cope with the pain. The surgery caused her a great deal of pain for a few weeks after. Jane had to wear a brace around her abdomen during her recover and again was prescribed Vicodin for pain management. Jane was in a great deal of pain from both injuries and she said it was the prescription pain pills that assisted and enabled her get through the recovery with more comfort and ease. On May 16 2007 Jane was admitted to the hospital and her health was quickly deteriorating. She had collapsed in the bathtub while taking a shower and was raced to the hospital in an ambulance. She was in a great deal of pain and the doctors knew there was not much hope for her because of her lupus and her failing state of health. They gave Jane high doses of pain medication intravenously and declared her terminally ill with a very short time span to live. The medication eased her through the time she had left to live but made her very drowsy and forgetful. She was often would find it very difficult to identify the day of the week, where exactly she was or even who she was speaking too because of the high doses of pain medication given to her to ease her passing. It can be difficult to see the ones you love in that state, such as forgetting their own relatives; because of the pain management medication they are receiving. However, it is harder to see the ones you love in excruciating pain. In these instances prescription pills or medication are essential to people’s life. For terminally ill patients pain management can be quite vital. In certain occurrences there are patients with legitimate pain and suffering that require some sort of pain management prescription pill to make it through the day. Without pain medicine it would be impossible for people to accomplish daily activities. There are instances where patients are prescribed prescription pills for pain but the pills are highly addictive and after the injury is healed or the problem is solved the consumption of the pills do not cease. I interviewed Joe Rodriguez and he told me his story of pill abuse and his struggle to quit. Joe was your average young boy with a typical fun loving childhood but at the age of sixteen he was involved in a fight and was struck in the left cheek bone with a plumbing pipe. He was badly injured and busted his left cheek bone very badly, it required facial surgery and he was implanted with two metal face plates and eight screws. At this time the doctors prescribed him Hydrocodone commonly known as Vicodin and soma, which are highly addicting and abused pain reliever and muscle relaxer, for the pain he was suffering. At the time Joe was not aware of the potential harm he would endure for the pills and this accident could be said to have marked the beginning of a very long journey for him. Following this accident he began to take the pills prescribed to him for three months straight but shortly after he stopped using. Approximately seven months after Joe’s first accident he shattered his wrist and forearm in a skating accident. Again Vicodin prescribed and another muscle relaxer called Flexiril. This time he began to abuse the Vicodin and enjoy the high the pill could give instead of just simply for pain management. He quickly ran out of his prescription pills, so was forced to stop consuming them and the abuse went on an intermission. Roughly another seven months after the second incident when he broke his forearm and wrist Joe then got into a motorcycle accident while on a ride. Once again Joe Rodriguez was prescribed a high dose of Vicodin and Somas, but this time it was different. The doctor prescribed him approximately two months worth of Vicodin and it was all consumed in one month’s worth of time. At this time Joe Rodriguez began to become consumed in the pills. His prescription for the Vicodin and Somas ran out again but his cravings for the pill’s effects did not. He began to buy pills off the street and would become so desperate at points he would take any prescription pill he could find to maintain his high, euphoric feeling he received. After taking prescription pills daily for over a year at the age of 19 he was taking on average 20 Vicodin a day. If the pills could not be obtained through means of the street or from friends Joe would go to doctors and complain of back or face pain from his past accidents. The doctors would then prescribe him at least 30 pills and sometimes up to 60 with at least two to three refills available. This continued steadily for the next four to five years and spent approximately 16,000 dollars a year primarily on prescription pill drug use. During the period of his pill abuse Joe over dosed once from Oxycontin and taken to the hospital to get his stomach pumped. Another time while consuming Xanax Joe blacked out as he was driving he went onto the curb and hit a tree on the side of the road. He sustained no major injuries and drove away fine. He says, â€Å"At times I would take so many Vicodin I would be scared to go to sleep in fear of never waking up,† (Rodriquez). Joe like many people in the United States was caught in the prescription pill battle and for a long period of time he was losing. When he finally realized what he was doing he sought help from his regular family doctor, about his pill abuse problem. His doctor then prescribed Joe methadone to help him with his prescription pill addiction. Methadone is a narcotic pain reliever, similar to morphine. It reduces withdrawal symptoms in people addicted to narcotic drugs without causing the high associated with the drug addiction and is used as part of detoxification programs (Spratto). However, as the doctor prescribed him Methadone he still had his prescription of Vicodin and according to the doctor his reasoning was so that he would not get addicted to either pill. While this can be true, however, it is important to remember that these are still considered dangerous drugs and have a very high abuse potential. Prescription drug abuse is the fastest growing form of substance abuse and the death rate of prescription pill users from overdose has increased tremendously over the years. It seems that in today’s society doctors are more concerned about being paid by the amount of pill prescriptions they supply then the quality of care they that they should be offering to each individual patients. Doctors should first search for alternative methods of treatment, such as holistic methods, instead of immediately turning to prescription pill narcotics. There are countless reasons why prescription pill abuse has become so popular in the recent year, one of which is because prescription pills are very easily accessed in today’s society. However, those who need prescription pills benefit greatly from them. This can include patients who are terminally ill and need help to ease their passing, those who require prescription pills for high pain maintenance, for such things as chronic pain, or people with life- altering illnesses. On the other hand, there are several down falls to consuming prescription pills, such as, they have a high abuse potential and also, an especially high rate of possible over dose or even death. There have been several people in my life, who I have experience with, who have benefitted from the effects prescription pills. An example of possible conflict that a care worker could come across in everyday is the patients not getting the appointments they want, waiting too long for an appointment and disagreeing with the surgery not opening all day and in the weekends.  A typical day of a GP:  GPs have tight schedules and experience stress as part of the day to day life of a GP. Firstly they experience the stress of university and meeting deadlines as well as revising and learning new concepts. However this is short term. A GPs worst nightmare is that this stressful and long lifestyle is the part of a GPs life. I am going to discuss the typical day of the main GP (who owns the GP surgery) Dr. K. Lahon:  At 8:30 the GP arrives at the surgery. This is one hour before the GP surgery opens. This is so that any paperwork which was not completed the previous day can be completed. This can take from 15 minutes to 2 hours depending on how much paperwork there is. To reduce the paperwork the GP completes as much of it as he can on the day. Additionally arriving 1 hour before the GP surgery opens allows the GP to look over the appointments he has during the day the morning and evening surgery. He can then briefly look at each patients history details which is on a secure database only to which the two GPs can look at and the nurse. This is one way how the GP surgery meets the confidentiality of information care value. 9:30 and the morning surgery begins. Appointments are being booked by the receptionists. On average there are 2 -3 emergency patients who come in. They see the GP or nurse after the rest of the people who have an appointment see the GP/nurse. This takes up to 30 minutes extra. By 12:30 the GP finishes seeing patients.  Then, the GP goes to the reception to sign any remaining prescriptions and to collect the letters or any messages from patients or hospital doctors. Before the GP leaves for lunch, he listens to any queries that the receptionists have or if the nurse/other GP have. This takes around 1/2.  Hence by 1:30 he is free from to go to have lunch and come back for afternoon surgery. At 2:00 the GP looks at blood tests that have arrived from the hospital. This is on average 6 each day. The GP then phones the receptionist to phone certain patients to inform them that their reports have arrived and that they need to book an appointment with either the main GP, the other GP or the nurse. This divides the work load equally hence reduces stress. The more serious blood reports are discussed by the main GP or the other GP. This takes 1/2 hour. At 3:00 the GP checks the post and mail for example to refer patients. Then the GP deals with paperwork such as life insurance forms and child protection reports. This takes 1 hour to do each day.  It is 3:30 and the GP comes in 1/2 before the afternoon surgery begins. This is so that the GP can complete any further paperwork; look at the appointments so look at each patients history briefly.  At 4:30 the afternoon surgery begins and it is normal for the GP to be on tight schedule. As it is normally fully booked, I finish at 7:30 10 minutes per patient. However although the GP afternoon surgery is supposed to finish at 7:00, patients come in late, patients have many questions to answer especially if they are diagnosed with a new disease such as diabetes which takes longer than 10 minutes.  When the afternoon surgery is closed at 7:30. The GP goes over the emails which have been sent during the aftern on surgery and typing referral letters. This takes usually an 1 hour.  At 8 o clock, 1 hours after the set finishing time, 7 o clock the GP can go home. Sometimes the GP has to attend meetings e.g. meetings with the other doctors who are part of the Ealing Primary Care.

In this paper, there are four theories that will be discusses, there are the leader-member exchange theory (LMX), path-goal theory, transactional-transformational theory, and the full-range leadership theory (FRLT). Before we started to discuss the analysis of Leadership Theories, the writer felt that is often difficult to separate leadership theories and models. He also informed that the reason of this study of theory and model will be used interchangeable except there is a very clear difference between them. Firstly, the journal is discussed about the leader-member exchange theory. Leader-Member Exchange Theory, also called LMX or Vertical Dyad Linkage Theory, describes how leaders in groups maintain their position through a series of tacit exchange agreements with their members. A leaders approach is addressed by the theories to the business environment and the followers perception of a leaders performance. The direct relationship between a leader and a follower and theoretical context for their interactions is the dyadic relationship. So that, there are 3 quality of the leader-follower interaction were determined by the LMX such as locus of control, need for power, and self esteem. A size of how a person know his control over his life and environment is locus of control. Lastly is the full range leadership theory (FRLT). An extension of transformational leadership theory to nine dimensions of leader behavior is called FRLT. The emotional part of leadership is isolated by idealized influence and is a view of the followers emotional engagement with the leader. According to the writer, the full range leadership theory is also closely associated with the multifactor leadership questionnaire. From this journal, the measure of the success of a theory is based on a number of reasons, that is all the theories are considered in a business environment where success is linked to measurable business criteria. Success has many meaning, but at here will mean that there is a good fit between the leaders behavior and the theory. The writer specially remember this does not necessarily mean that a theories success implies a leaders success because some of the measures will be negatively related to leader performance. With this leadership, the leader enhances the motivation, morale and performance of his followers through a variety of mechanisms. These include connecting the followers sense of identity and self to the mission and the collective identity of the organization; being a role model for followers that inspires them; challenging followers to take greater ownership for their work, and understanding the strengths and weaknesses of followers, so the leader can align followers with tasks that optimizes their performance. An example, Sagie and Koslowski (1994) state that employees involved in tactical decision making, participation i n decision making, feel more empowered and involve in the company in future pay and assignment. A person who is practicing active management by expection is called a transactional leader who can use a path-goal and leader-member exchange. The factor for this is the outcome, the transactional leader sees as the total output of the exchange and the transformational leader sees as a stage in the growth of the follower. An action to motive follower, the transactional leader appeals to both the followers intellect and emotions. He will use the best approach at his disposal to move followers forward in achieving his vision. In addition, a leader a full toolkit of capabilities to control his relationship with subordinates is given by the full-range leadership theory. According to this journal, the full range leadership theory can explain most leadership activity simply and leadership-member exchange theory directly addresses the varying relationship between leaders and their subordinates in a context. But since this happens at a higher level, leadership-member exchange does not address the dissemination of vision. Besides, the ability of a leader to direct the activities of subordinates had been addressed by the path-goal theory. Bases on these, the writer feel that transactional-transformational theory is more complete than the prior two theories. The reason of his feeling is it includes their activities, by implication, and expands on the basis for leader actions. Otherwise, this leader also retains the ability to function in a transactional mode in more stable situations. The superior to transactional-transformational theory is full range leadership theory which is an attempt to complete them with the addition of components. Humphreys (2001) found that transformational leaders were more likely to grasp the implication of technology adoption than transactional leaders. Leaders can grow in many ways like educational environments, extending their knowledge of leadership and the world around them. A leader can temper his decisions with wisdom although some would contend that philosophy is useless. Leadership theories are  a relatively recent phenomena that have been advanced by the sudden interest in historical leaders and the desire to identify the characteristics and behaviors that these leaders exhibited.   By understanding the characteristics of the leader, their successes and failures, as well as the political and work environment they faced, the modern day worker can hope to replicate this success. All lie in a multi-dimensional continuum were considered by the leadership theories that considers the emotional, intellectual, physical, and value structure of leaders and followers. Charismatic leadership is leadership based on the leaders ability to communicate and behave in ways that reach followers on a basic, emotional way, to inspire and motivate. Its difficult to identify the characteristics that make a leader charismatic, but they certainly include the ability to communicate on a very powerful emotional level, and probably include some personality traits. Developing charisma is difficult, if not impossible for many people, but luckily charismatic leadership is not essential to be an effective leader. Baz Luhzmans â€Å"Romeo and Juliet† was produced in 1997 the film is a modern version of Shakespeare’s original play. This essay will analyse the techniques used, the effect the opening and its successes on a modern audience. The film opens in an unconventional, modern way in order to catch the attention of the audience, for example in the starting scene a T. V screen moves towards us (the audience) and at the same time it expands till it actually covers the whole screen. The effect this has on audience is into a serious and concerning mood. I was also very impressed how the director modernized the scene. I believe what the director was trying to do was to stay faithful to the Shakespeare original play, so in other words he didn’t change the scene or the play but he showed every aspect of the play in a way so that the audience could relate to this scene, for example the director uses a News caster to read out the prologue, while Shakespeare original play used a narrator to read out the prologue. The director headlines in magazines, newspapers and forecast to show key words in the prologue, for example in the News forecast they have a caption which is â€Å"Star crossed lovers†. The Characters are portrayed in an interesting and contrasting manner. For example the Montague’s are portrayed as childish, humorous, unorganized and this characteristics is believed to be a stereotype of adolescents, so that the audience can relate to this characters and the lifestyles of the characters, what the director also does is he makes the addressees relate to the Montague’s in order to gain the audience sympathy for the Montague’s. While the Capulet’s are shown as mature, more organized, they are dressed in suits and also the Capulet’s characters display consistent behavior, they are always enraged, always ready to do battle and always out for blood, and this characteristics is also another typical stereotype but only this time this characters are portrayed as the Mafia. The director portrays them as evil and insincerity because they wear religious items while they live Sinful lives. The effect that the contradiction of the Montagues and Capulets has on the audience is it makes the audience realise that there will be conflict. The director portrays Montague’s as humorous so this makes the audience laugh and he shows the Capulet’s as powerful evil hypocrites so this makes the audience more or less despite them, as they are the villains of the play. The setting is carefully chosen to show rage and anger for example the scene at the petrol station conflict happens, petrol station symbolises fire and fire symbolises rage, danger and conflict. What the director once again does is he stays loyal to the Shakespeare’s original play but once again modernises for example, the original play was set in Verona while Baz Luhzmans â€Å"Romeo and Juliet† is set in U. S. A Verona beach. The effect on audience is the scene is set in L. A to attract a young audience so that they can associate to the familiar setting. And I believe what the director was trying to do was to reinforce the spoken prologue in the captions he used instead of reciting it as Shakespeare’s did once again he modernized a scene in Shakespeare’s original play but still stays faithful to it. There was a scene in a petrol station, in the petrol station there was a sign which was â€Å"Phoenix, add more fuel to your fire†, the language used here draws our attention further to the families conflict because we associate this words with anger and rage, because the first word Phoenix is associated with fire and hell. Most misdemeanor sentences, however, usually involve paying a fine and doing community service or serving probation. Classifications Differ by State It is up to each state to determine specifically which behaviors are criminal and then classify the behavior based on a set of parameters and the severity of the crime. Jane Eyre undergoes a period which she was called a mad cat, or titled less than a servant in Mrs. Reeds house (Brontà « 9). Deep in her mind, Janestrongly refuses these names; therefore she often hides and reads books in order to educate herself [rep] in order and build up her inner-self. In constructing a sense of inner self, Jane is able to differentiate her identity from the rest of Mrs. Reeds family members. Jane has similar experience at Lowood School where she is incorrectly labelled an interloper and an alien and also harshly, a liar (Brontà « 56). However, Miss Temple and Helen trust Jane which allows Jane to rebuild her point of view and establish new identity. In Janes life, they were the first to acknowledge Janes unique identity. Under Miss Temples protection and guidance, Jane completes her educa tion at Lowood; however, Jane lives more like a shadow of Miss Temple. Jane then later became the governess of Adele in order to break away the image of Miss Temple and create her own. There in Thornfield, she continues to educate herself by painting and reading to build up the real Jane Eyre identity. When Mr. Rochester asks Jane to marry him and gives e her the title of Mrs.  Rochester, [p_voice] it stunned Jane that she will no longer be Jane Eyre but under the name of Rochester. Losing her self-identity frightened Jane and the shadow of class differences and unfairness from her childhood experience affected her and made her leave Mr. Rochester. Later in the story, Jane finds her relatives in Marsh End and sheinherits a considerable amount of money, which makes herreconnect to family. Moreover, her newfound wealth makes her economically independent; these conditions eliminate Janes self-contempt and complete her desired image as an independent woman in society. At the end of the story, she choses to give up her independence and reunite with Mr. Rochester. Indeed, Bildungsromane typically conclude with the protagonist making some choice, thereby confirming that the protagonist has achieved a coherent self The story of Jane Eyre starts from her helpless childhood until the last step of [her] maturity when [she] finally finds self-knowledge (she in the original source is he for it was referring to hero) (Kern 6). After all Jane has experienced, from an adopted orphan to a gentlemens mistress, she finally comes to a successful and independent state which she can make her own decision and will not be restricted by anything. The various challenges during Janes growing process that educate and change her emotions and identities align with the basic definition of a Bildungsroman genre. Although the story of Jane Eyre falls into a fairy tale ending, the novel Jane Eyre functions as a Bildungsroman.

Using an IP based PBX, companies can facilitate high quality voice communication between branches over a WAN, thereby not paying PSTN rates. By connecting incoming PSTN lines with the PBX system, incoming calls can be routed to different branches over a WAN. Outbound calls can also be routed to the best value trunking providers, reducing outbound call costs. The Asterisk project started in 1999 when Mark Spencer released the initial code under the GPL open source license. Since that time, it has been enhanced and tested by a global community of thousands. Today, Asterisk is maintained by the combined efforts of Digium and the Asterisk community. 1.1. Problem definition Quick and efficient communication between employees is an essential business requirement. Unfortunately, companies often suffer high costs in facilitating phone communication between employees at different branches. 1.2. Solution to this problem To solve the problem you have to use Asterisk to add PBX with low cost. Asterisk is an open source framework for building communications applications. Asterisk turns an ordinary computer into a communications server. Asterisk powers IP PBX systems, VoIP gateways, conference servers and other custom solutions. It is used by small businesses, large businesses, call centers, carriers and government agencies, worldwide. Asterisk is free and open source. Asterisk is sponsored by Digium. Today, there are more than one million Asterisk-based communications systems in use, in more than 170 countries. Asterisk is used by almost the entire Fortune 1000 list of customers. Most often deployed by system integrators and developers, Asterisk can become the basis for a complete business phone system, or used to enhance or extend an existing system, or to bridge a gap between systems. Most Asterisk-based systems and solutions require additional components: phones, gateway appliances or interface cards and other hardware. Companies that deploy open source solutions frequently need training and often prefer to have support from a trusted partner. Digium meets all of these needs with a family of product and service offerings built exclusively for the Asterisk market. 2.1. How it works Figure 1: Example of two branches connected together Figure1 shows you how Asterisk connects two branches together even if the next branch is with long distance. Figure 2: PSTN In figure 2 you can see the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), which refers to the international telephone system based on copper wires carrying analog voice data. This is in contrast to newer telephone networks base on digital technologies. PSTN uses circuit switching to allow users to make landline telephone calls to one another. The call is placed after it is routed through multiple switches. These switches are found in a central office (CO) or in a wire center. Ultimately, voice signals are able to travel over the connected phone lines. When two telephones are connected, analog voice data is transmitted over the copper wires of the PSTN. The voice data is then converted into electrical signals which are eventually routed in the switching centers. Finally, a connection is made and communication is possible. The version that we are installing is a free version of ASTERISK. You have to follow these steps in order to install the ASTERISK. 3.1. Download the ISO In order in install the program you have to download the ISO version and this version is online Figure 3: how to download from website You have to go on www.asterisk.org/downloads (Figure 3) then click on Asterisk software PBX and go to Asterisk NOW 6.12 and chose what your computer can handle whether 64bit or 32bit. In our installation we chose 64bit. 3.2. Open the installation file Select a computer to install the freePBX Distro on. everything on this computer will be deleted and replaced with the freePBX distro. Configure the computer to boot from a DVD or CD. Insert the DVD or CD into the computer and turn it on. 3.3. Choose full setup Figure 4: installation prompt As in figure 4 the installer will begin with a prompt to select what you want, we chose the Asterisk Version Full to install. 3.4. Packages installs Figure 5: installing packages In figure 5 the system will present downloads of the install package from the internet. That should take 3-5 minutes. 3.5. Configure the network In figure 6 you will see option to configure your network. The default selections are fine in most cases, so just press TAB until the red OK box is highlighted in white and then press ENTER. Figure 6: configure the network 3.6. Time zone selection In figure 7 you will reach the Time Zone Selection screen. If your system clock uses GMT (most do not) Use the up and down arrows to select the time zone where you will use the system, and then hit TAB until the red OK button is highlighted in white. Then hit ENTER. Figure 7: Time zone 3.7. Choose your root password In figure 8 the installer will ask you to select your Root password. The Root password is the password youll use to login to the Linux command prompt later. Selecting a secure password is very important. Type the password, hit TAB, type it again, hit TAB, and then hit ENTER. Figure 8: Root password The installer will install the boot loader and some other scripts, and then reboot your computer again. 4.1. We have to take this IP to run in on web browser to login into web application to add users. 4.2. Add telephone The next steps explain how to add a telephone line and follow these instructions to complete of create new user. 4.3.1. Add a user in PJSIP extension Figure 13:PJSIP extension In figure 13 you have many things to fill out. First thing is the name of user extension and that must not a copy of old user extension. Second thing is the display name that is shows to you in VOIP witch is refer to the person who call. What you have to do is to fill the same information in the right to the left. There something addition which is the IP. You can see the IP in figure 10. 5.2. As we saw before that Asterisk can connect two branches or more together we will illustrate the advantages and disadvantages of using Asterisk. 6.1. Advantage of using Asterisk 6.1.1. Lowest cost Asterisk is open source which means that you can download and use it for free without any charge and you can make free calls between branches even if the branches in your country or outside. 6.2.
